General Hospital Spoilers: Natalia Is Flopping Hard with Fans – Character Needs a New Love Interest or a Fast Exit Strategy?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that many viewers had high hopes when Eva LaRue was announced as a cast addition. LaRue is a talented actress who certainly knows her way around a soap opera, but things still haven’t gone well since she made her debut as Natalia Ramirez.
For the most part, Natalia is flopping hard with fans. Does this character need a new love interest or perhaps just a fast exit strategy?
The show’s been trying to get some flying sparks going between Natalia and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), which makes sense considering he’s single and Benard is a popular leading actor.
However, Sonny and Natalia just aren’t clicking like they should.
It’s true that Sonny isn’t on the right med dosage and isn’t quite himself as a result, but he’s actually been calm and charming around Natalia.
The med situation isn’t the problem here. The real issue is a lack of romantic chemistry and a vibe that’s just not working.
Of course, it’ll be interesting to see what happens between Sonny and Natalia considering what Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) witnessed after the wedding.
Blaze aka Allison Rogers (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) could push Natalia to steer clear of Sonny since he’s clearly dangerous after what he did to Dex Heller (Evan Hofer).
Depending on how things ended in Natalia’s marriage, she could be scared off over the latest Sonny news.
On the other hand, Natalia has proven she’s stubborn and might act like Blaze is overreacting.
Natalia could make Kristina out to be a drama queen who’s hormonal due to the pregnancy and insist she can decide for herself whether she’ll date Sonny.
Regardless, it’s clear that Natalia needs a new love interest if she’s going to stick around.
Sonny and Natalia just don’t have potential as a long-term pairing, so it’d be better for the writers to end them sooner rather than later.
Some personality changes wouldn’t hurt either since Natalia’s controlling nature with Blaze is annoying and difficult to watch.
Naturally, there are some GH fans who’d prefer to see Natalia cut her trip to Port Charles short and go home!
Natalia honestly doesn’t seem needed beyond a brief stint, so plenty of viewers are rooting for her to make a speedy departure at some point.
